The ODM 20 Sticker Casing-In Machine is a compact bindery machine used in hardcover book production to attach a book block to its hard cover. It applies adhesive to the end sheets of a book block and positions the case-made cover onto the book, creating a finished cased-in hardcover book ready for pressing or building-in. The machine is designed for on-demand bookbinding environments and can typically produce about 100–400 books per hour.

The operator places the book block onto the machine’s wing while it is in the home position. Using a foot switch, the wing lowers the book block beneath the glue rollers. A servo-driven system then brings dual glue stations into contact with the book block as it moves upward, applying a uniform layer of adhesive to the end sheets. As the glued book block emerges from the glue stations, the operator positions the hardcover case using the cover guide and removes the completed cased-in book from the machine.
