Kugler Fully Automatic Punching System – 974-019

The Kugler Fully Automatic Punching System is a high-speed bindery machine designed to punch holes in paper, cardboard, or plastic sheets used for wire-bound books, calendars, comb binding, and binder inserts. The system automatically feeds sheets, aligns them precisely, punches the hole pattern, and outputs the finished stack while maintaining the correct page order. These machines are commonly used in large print finishing operations where high production speeds are required.

Paper stacks are loaded into a feeder where sheets are picked from the top and fed into the punching system automatically. Each sheet is squared and positioned before punching to ensure consistent hole placement. The punching die creates the hole pattern required for binding (wire-o, coil, comb, calendar, etc.). The turn-over-drum keeps sheets in their original sequence so printed pages remain in correct order. Finished punched sheets are delivered to the output tray or stacker for the next finishing step.
