The Crawley turning-in machine is a specialized piece of equipment used in the final stage of hard-cover book production. Its only job is to fold the overhanging edges of the cover material (cloth, leather, paper, etc.) neatly over the edges of the book board and paste them down to the inside of the cover.

• Dedicated solely to the turning-in operation in hard-cover case making

• Heated platen for reactivating animal glue or PVA on the turn-in flaps
