The CP Bourg SQE Square Edge Booklet Finisher is a compact finishing system designed to produce professional square-spined booklets that closely resemble perfect-bound publications. By compressing and forming the booklet spine after saddle stitching, the SQE creates a flat, printable spine while reducing overall booklet bulk by approximately one-third. The system operates as a standalone hand-feed unit or can be integrated inline with compatible CP Bourg booklet makers for fully automated production.
Ideal for digital print providers, commercial printers, and in-plant print facilities, the SQE processes booklets up to 6.5 mm thick and allows finished books to open flat without damaging the spine, providing an attractive alternative to tape and wire binding systems.
