The US-2000 AST-MDM enables high performance. With the dynamic high-speed band feeding and the withdrawal by a brushless motor, the machine processes up to 30 bandings/min. Thanks to the package height detection, the product memory and the band centering, the banding happens very gentle and on the exact position. Postal packages can thus be banded very tight and without damaging the edges. The AST aggregate operates wear-free.
Three photocells are mounted in the arch for the product height detection. Together with the product memory they guarantee the desired band tension even with different package sizes.
With the gentle banding technology light and heavy packages (up to 66 lbs) can be banded tight and with edge-protection.
