The Dürselen PB.15 automated paper drilling system is a high-performance bindery machine designed to drill precise holes in stacked paper for binding, filing, or specialty finishing applications. It automatically jogs, aligns, and drills piles of loose sheets, folded sections, stitched brochures, or perfect-bound books, making it suitable for medium- to high-volume print finishing environments. The system can operate either in-line with other finishing equipment or as a stand-alone unit for flexible production workflows.

The operator loads a stack of paper, book blocks, or folded sections onto the infeed of the drilling system. The machine automatically jogs and aligns the pile before transporting it into the drilling station using motorized rollers and an air-cushioned channel. Once in position, multiple drill heads descend into the stack to create the programmed hole pattern for binding or filing applications. After drilling is complete, the system automatically moves the finished pile out of the station while advancing the next stack into position, allowing continuous and efficient production.
