Based on the world’s most popular CTP platform, the versatile, reliable Trendsetter® 400 II Quantum offers semi-automatic operation, stability, easy maintenance and superior imaging quality. In addition to standard thermal plates, the Trendsetter 400 II Quantum can output chemical-free plates, thermal film, or double-sided thermal Dupont® Dylux® . ContinuousLoad and Autoloader options are available to increase throughput and allow the platesetter to run with less manual intervention. Accuracy and registration are assured, from plate to plate and from machine to machine. The platesetter automatically corrects for temperature-related plate expansion and contraction, and for geometric differences between platesetters. SQUAREspot imaging delivers consistent, high-quality output The Trendsetter 400 II Quantum platesetter features SQUAREspot® imaging technology—the foundation for accurate and consistent presswork. SQUAREspot delivers end-to-end imaging integrity from the original file through to the press, despite normal plate-imaging variables such as laser power, plate emulsion sensitivity, and processor variation. Digital halftone proofing and CTP in one device For increased value and flexibility, the Spectrum option allows the Trendsetter 400 II Quantum device to produce both plates and Spectrum halftone proofs. Spectrum proofs are highly consistent, color-accurate proofs that are imaged with the same imaging technology and screening that are used for the plate. With a choice of industry-standard media, including DuPont® WaterProof® and Kodak Polychrome Graphics Matchprint, thermal halftone proofs provide the same look, feel and performance as analog proofs, with superior sharpness and digital control of color and tone reproduction.
