Paper Punch Description

The Alpha-Doc MK4 is a high speed automatic punching machine designed for medium to large size runs involving multiple materials ranging from 70 to 300 gsm including acetates or plastic covers and diverse punching patterns including thumb cuts with maximum punched edge of 330mm (13″). It provides a true output of up to 34,000 sheets (80gsm) / hour including loading & unloading operations.

With its optional tab jogger, it can also punch pre-collated tabbed sheets and the optional narrow sheet option allows to punch sheets which unpunched edge down to 105mm which is particularly useful for producing desk top weekly planners.

Punching width : from 138mm (5.5″) to 350mm (13.75″)
Punching thickness : selectable from 0.5 to 1.0mm
Mechanical speed : selectable up to 5,400 cycles / hour
Punching output : up to 54,000 sheets / hour

All above outputs are based on 80gsm plain paper and will vary pending on the nature of the document, the operator skills, the work organisation. Best punching quality is obtained with paper thickness not exceeding 1.5mm.
