Gathered book blocks are fed directly into the City 5000 binder, which features 15 clamps and a mechanical speed of up to 5,000 cycles per hour, depending on the product.

The binder includes a milling roughening unit to prepare book spines for adhesive application, a side-glue lathe, and a cover feeder with a pressing station. Finished books transfer via a conveyor system with diverter to the included Wohlenberg TRIM-Tec 45 three knife trimmer, allowing precise trimming before packaging or further processing.
